These vermilion and black lacquer spoons are handcrafted by Osamu Matsuzaki, a lacquerware artist based in Motegi Town, Tochigi Prefecture. Each step of the process is completed by hand, giving every piece a warm and atmospheric character.

• As each item is handmade, slight variations will occur, adding to the uniqueness of each spoon
• Rinse with water or lukewarm water after use and wipe with a soft cloth
• Everyday stains can usually be removed without detergent; for tougher stains, use a mild detergent. (Leaving stains for long periods may cause damage or discoloration.)
• Avoid stacking ceramic or other vessels on top of lacquerware to prevent scratches
• After washing, dry thoroughly before storing. Do not store in direct sunlight or overly dry environments
• Not suitable for microwave, dishwasher, or dryer use
